Brainerd Lakes/Crosslake Area
Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes (actually the MN DNR says that number is closer to 14,380), and the state offers more shoreline than California, Florida and Hawaii combined. Including rivers, streams, lakes and ponds, Minnesota has more than 180,000 miles of shoreline compared to 168,918 miles for the other three states together. That allows for many opportunities to get out on the water and find a forever home with a lake view in our beautiful state. The Brainerd Lakes Area and Crosslake Area are located approximately 130 miles and a 2-2.5 hour drive north of the Twin Cities Metro. The area has great amenities, and often those seeking a summer escape end up moving to the area full-time. In the wintertime the BLA is great for cross-country/down-hill skiing, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, ice fishing and enjoying evenings by the fire. In the summer you’ll find everyone on the lake, on the golf course, checking out the great shopping the area has to offer, or on one of the many trails for biking. The Spiczka Team has lived and worked in the area for over 20 years with a focus on residential homes and lots/land.
